Dant finally got clipped today - thank god, he was fluffier than I thought! And he was as good as gold, even had his head done

Except... it took some 4hrs+

(he was very patient, I'm amazed!) Really do need some proper clippers...

So, can anyone recommend some clippers that are good, but preferably under £200? Only need them for clipping one horse, full clip, as needed through winter.

Alternatively, is it possible to hire clippers?

I bought some of these, only used them once so far, on one horse, but it was a full clip (including mane and legs), and they seemed to a perfectly acceptable job. Maybe a bit noisy but gave a good finish.

I am sure these are the ones i bought last year, they are completely up to the job yet on a smaller budget

These look like the Chinese copy of the Heiniger Handy - how long are they going to last? I think Heiniger have stopped making the Handy as it is so out of date.

I bought a set of Masterclip Rambo clippers last week, they cost me £140 off ebay. They are not the Heiniger Handy lookalikes, they are a more robust clipper with a 200w motor.
We have just clipped 4 horses back to back on our yard and they are really impressive, especially considering the price.
