When I last clipped J's legs not only did I do an awful job (I'm no hairdresser!), but he got really upset (legs flailing everywhere, running away from me). I had to ask YO (who clips regularly) if she could help me in the end and it took twitching him and a lot of patience from YO.

I had been thinking about clippers and the vibrations (as I think its that that upsets him the most) and did some googling and found the Liveryman Harmony cordless ones were meant to be quiet and low vibration.

Did a quick bit of training Monday night/ Tuesday morning and this morning this was J's reaction.....

Excellent! Very promising. The Harmonies are good, aren’t they, and because of the angle of the blade they are much easier to hold and use around legs and heels compared to full size clippers.

I’ve recently done a full clip on one of mine with my Harmonies. She was a bit anxious about the noise of my full size Heinigers, but was relaxed and fine with the smaller, quieter, Harmony clippers.

I'm really surprised at how chilled he is. I was tempted to do his legs this morning but didn't fancy going to work covered in leg fluff!

I've got Masterclip HD Roamer and whilst he is ok with them on his body (only done tummy and neck) he really hated them on his legs. They are quite noisy but would also make my hand feel funny with the vibration so not surprised he didn't like his legs done with them.

I'm excited to give him a tidy up :)
