Hi, Well, I used to be able to search for a topic but for a while now, I can`t search the old posts as it wont let me. So about clippers, I am after some and I want some that are quiet and easy to use, and that will last.
What clippers do you suggest. I have been looking at the Heineger ones, but then I have just seen some on Ebay that are £100 new. These are GT and masterclip although they look the same ones. Any suggestions on what you have.
Many thanks

I have Liveryman Harmony, which so far are pretty good

Although, if you have a very hairy native I don't think they would be the wisest choice! In fairness to them though, they did manage to my fluffy chaps bum very well considering it was really thick greasy fur. Think they were about £120 and are very quiet and battery powered.

I bought a set of Wolseley 'Swift' clippers years ago & they are used regularly. They have never let me down, really reliable, they are easy to get serviced, the blades are readily available. There are loads of makes out there but without a doubt Wolseley are one of the best.

I've got some Lister Lazor clippers for sale. They are absolutly brillient, very good for getting through the hairiest of coats. Only had them a year, and only used 4 times

I would recommend Heiniger, i have the heavy duty 400w and they are fantastic such a quick running speed means they will go through anything! Expensive though! Nearly£400 but well worth it, i clip 5-6 horses a week!
