I am a one horse owner (potential two) and want to invest in some second hand or if priced right new clippers. Does any one recommend a particular make? I will only be clipping twice a year and so don't want to spend a fortune. Thanks

(sorry if this has been asked before)

If you want something easy to use and easy to tension, then Lister clippers are great. Be careful buying second hand, make sure they have been serviced or checked by an expert.

I recommend the heineger Handy clippers - about £200 but had mine 10 years and clipped a lot of horses
