Clippers?

I got mine from Argos for about £40. They do a few in the catalogue and they might be reduced at this time of year! You save loads doing them yourself! Good luck in your search

I got some Wahl clippers from Pets at Home. They were the professional set and cost around £40. I use them on my Tibetan Terrier who is far too much of a coward to be done by anyone but me. My results leave a little to be desired (he does tend to lie down and wave his legs in the air when I'm trying to clip him!) but the clippers themselves are great.
 
Thanks! I've had the argos ones and they won't touch my dogs! (one's a spaniel with very thick hair!) I'll try the Wahl ones; I have the dinky clippers which are very nice!

Do you think they'd cut a spaniel's fur?

I would have thought they'd manage your spaniel's hair just fine. They seem well made and make light work of my Tibetan Terrier's very long, thick hair. I've been pretty impressed with them. Just a pity my own clipping skills aren't that great!
