Clippers

Need to get some new clippers for my welsh x and cob to clip winter coats and then maintain feathers/hogged mane all year round. Can anyone recommend any for those on a budget?

I have the Hauptner 2000 and I think they are great. Another livery has borrowed them a few times to clip, hog and do feathers on her cob.

Depends on your budget! I bought my Heineger Progress clippers for £180 and so far (on the same blades) they have done 7 clips (6 x blanket, 1 x full and 1 x trace) and 2 lots of feathers and the blades are still sharp!

I have premier dominance ones which are based on Lotty's Hauptners. They aren't easy to find but they are absolutely blooming marvellous and I love them.
