Clipping- could I get away with this?

Gypsy already has a blanket clip + his legs off, this was end of October so he's now getting a bit wooly so were going to do him again today or tomorrow.
I don't want to clip as much as I did last time, it was too high and it's going to get colder and he's in less work now.
So, could I change his partly grown out blanket clip into a chaser clip (not doing his legs again) without it looking weird?!

This wa when we first clipped him.
Thanks :)

I don't know how fluffy he is but if the amount of regrowth BH has is anything to go by I doubt it would look silly. Mine is nearly as hairy as he was before I clipped now! Grr. Which means I have to get the clippers back out this week :(

Does it really matter if it looks a bit odd? You are obviously choosing your clip for the right reasons - weather and workload - so surely it's what is best for the horse that counts (and I'm sure he doesn't care) :)

It will probably look a bit strange (depending on the amount of re-growth), but if you aren't competing, then it doesn't really matter..

As Rhino says, does it really matter?
It'll grow out soon enough. I had an Instructor once who was very fond of this quote :

Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind
