clipping heads

Do you uses the same clippers to clip your horses head as you do their body or do you use different ones?
I clipped two of mine today and did half head clipp on both of them, first time i have done it and i used the same clippers. Just wondered what others did.

most of it with big clippers then bits near eyes and forelock with trimmers, depends on his mood!

if they're very good i use the big clippers because they're quicker, but i usually use the little Rex Moser ones, really quiet and do an excellent job.

Same clippers for legs and heads, my horses are really good to clip so dont react to clippers. I do tend to twitch when I am doing roung their eyes and ears as any sudden movement would not be good especially as they are nosey, it saves any accidents. Have never found a decent pair of small trimmers that give the same affect.

Big clippers although I am not allowed to clip his ears - he just won't have it! lol

The eye sockets are a bit of a prob but can use smaller trimmers top do them (although mine tend to bald a little bit - think they need some grading guard type things on!)

Have always used the same clippers in the past, though have been lucky enough to always have horses who loved being clipped
