please does anybody know of someone offfering clipping services ( and who is recommendable )in the Norfolk Kings Lynn area? I desperatley want my boy blanket clipped but not brave enough to do it my self as will never get the lines even - please if you know of any body who is good please PM me ! x
 
Try the Carousel riding club website. Thereis an advert for a freelance groom who does a clipping service - not sure what she is like.

Did you have any luck with an instructor? We use Tamsin Conyers at Weston longville for jumping (V good) but are desperately trying to find someone who will come to us to help us with our youngster on the flat, but doesnt expect a 6yo, green, heavy weight cob monster to be a dressage divia. If you have any luck would you PM me. Thankies
 
I'm in the same position. My boy being 3/4 highland is extremely hairy already and gets super sweaty which isn't good when I'm trying to get the tank fit! I'm too scared to clip him myself incase I mess it up! If you find someone decent please let me know!
 
I have clipped before and am near kings lynn and have a quiete set of avalon cordless clippers. I have done my own horses and 3 or 4 friends horses. I am not sure if you are interested or trust me??? I would not charge by the hour as i am quite fussy about getting lines right etc and any bits that look a bit crap in my opionion. I am fussy as i dont like my horses to go out looking scruffy. It is not too difficult have a go and start low, you can always take a scoop more off if you need to and mark it out before hand or at leats have an idea such as point of a shoulder or so far up the horse you want done.
