Clipping your dog

Slightly different but I shave my cat myself

Definitely not a professional job and only required for his comfort, he has a massively dense coat.

Not sure I'd want to do any sort of clipping on a dog myself but then I am rubbish! No harm in giving it a go though...practice makes perfect!

Im a groom....so I always clip mine

Is he the scotti in ya siggi?
To clip him out properly its a pretty hard clip to master to be honest, but hey...he does not have to be perfect....but to shave his body down and just give him a smart head would be easier......get yourself a breed book...that will help u....its not as easy as it looks though...lol

....but u will get better with pratice....just be carefull if u are going to use scissors as well as the clippers

I have to clip my dog myself now after a few failed attempts at the groomers (too nervous).

I have only done him the once and I must admit he looked like a sheared sheep for a little while!

I seemed to get better and quicker towards the end but I wont be as nervous when I clip him next.

I clip one of our dogs during the summer months!

He has such a thick coat he needs to have something done to cool him down
