Clipping

Provided horse hasn't started molting, but each horse different! Usually end of Feb for liney clips, although some horses i clip all year round, all over so it doesnt matter with them!
 
I was always told the end of Jan, but I did clip one in the middle of March this year, he quailfied for hoys in early June so I'm pretty sure it didnt effect his summer coat to much xx

I was thinking end of January (which is what I usually aim for). Southywesty comment on when they start to moult makes a lot of sense.

My clipping routine has gone to pot with this extreme weather, and as horse lives out daren't risk it. Horse normally has two low chaser clips to get him through the winter which over the years has worked very well for him. This year is completely different!
