I haven't clipped this year, big lad has had winter off, and didnt know how mare was going to fair over winter, so left her aswell. Both are rugged so not total wooly mammoths...

I wish I had done belly clips now, as I want to bring biglad back into work, but he sweats so much, it's not good.

Mare is for sale now too, and I don't know if it might put people off that she isn't clipped.

To late now!!! DUH.

Hurry up warm weather....

Eee, everyone tells me this, but I hate doing it after the end of jan ( i know i'm like a week out but still).

Big lads summer coat really doesn't come nice if he's clipped this late, I don't know why, it comes all stairy and spikey and dull.

Never minddddd

we always do clips this time of year... full clips every thing but legs come off...if it needs doing do it..

In order to get the best possible summer coat through we clip all the arabs now as it brings through a thinner smoother summer coat, also feed linseed or soya oil to add shine, and conditioning feed... also LOTS of grooming!!!

never had a problem

xxx

ETA: We full clip so take EVERYTHING off including legs ect!!!
