My mare is a WB, last year when I got her I didn't clip her because her coat is so fine and didn't expereince any problems with not clipping her, she is very fit so even when she sweats her coat doesn't cause much of a problem.

Do you think I should clip this year? I will probably do a bit more work with her...any suggestions

p.s - When I say clip - I mean full/hunter clip!!

If her winter coat is fine enough to allow her to dry off and cool down without any problems I wouldn't bother.

Think I'd be inclined to see how it goes? If and when it starts becoming an issue- whip it off!

I think you answered your own question, but only do it when it becomes a problem
