Can anyone give me any personal experiences or knowledge of Cliveden Stud?

I have seen their website and spoken to their YO but just wondered what the 'word on the street' was about them? Any information about any of their services/yard/horses/training would be greatfully recieved - good, bad or indifferent.

Feel free to PM me if preferred.

I live very close (walking distance) to Cliveden Stud but have only ever been there once for about 1/2 hour. Being local, I would have thought I'd have heard if there was anything bad about it - and I definitely haven't heard anything bad. It's not a huge place at all - so more change of the staff giving each horse individual attention. The yard when I saw it looked smart, tidy and well kept with decent, stables - not huge, but not undersize either. I pass the fields quite often - all post and rail - look very well kept from my roadside view. Friend of mine used to take lessons with the lady who runs it and always rated her/rated the place.

So as I say, I am sure I would have heard if there was anything not so good about the place.

Same as Faro - I also live very close and have never heard any bad press. I don't know if she still does but the lady that owns hTobago used to come on here and he was/is there, and she was very happy with it?

:) hiyaa i used to go there as a saturday girl and its very smart and wellkept. the horses are lovely especially the stallions, the lessons were quite good but out of the month that i was there i was promised a lesson each time but i only got one which was a shame. the horses are kept very clean and pampered and i got a great experience out of it. I would definately recommend keeping your horse there as it is very professional and friendly although i have to say they are very strict and sometimes very snobby but thats to be expected from anywhere horsey ! :) hope this was helpful for you x

I also live very local & only ever heard good things about it :)
The yard I used to be on used to host the local PC events & she used to train the eventing teams, they all used to rave at how good she was.
