Cryozootech has succeeded in cloning a new top-class horse. No-one less than the clone of Levisto Z was born in Texas and is doing well.

yes i heard a week or so ago, couldnt of picked a better horse!!!!

I am sure the clone may have the same problem!!!!

seems to be talk in forums that he may have but i cant find anything concrete to say he deffinatly has.

He does indeed have OCD so I wonder whether they have managed to eradicate this in the clone...

Almost all OCD in warmblood horses is as a result of trauma or feeding. Certain breeds have suffered more than others, but for instance the Selle Francais disposition to OCD of some years ago has been all but eradicated by the introduction of higher levels of copper to the diet.
