Clocks change tonight!

Haha I thought there would be a question with that like, "For those whos horses are on DIY and in a constant routine, do you all go up at the same time (an hour later) or go up earlier than normal as horses were put to bed at the same time". Its what I wonder anyway as I am the only one going up technically 30 mins earlier (so 30 minutes later....) than normal as they were still put to bed early. Of course they are horses and will get over/probably not realise it but I'm just a bit special like that sometimes :p

No, was just being an information service :D

I don't have a particularly strict routine with mine so he won't care when I turn up.. he is on box rest anyway so it won't mean he has any less turnout than usual.

I have to get up early, dressage test at 10.30, am paranoid about getting the time wrong tho, does anyone know if blackberrys automatically reset their clock? I hate the clock change time, it confuses me!

No idea but have fun at the dressage :) It confuses me too but I hate the clocks going forward more, don't mind an extra hour in bed!

phew!

Just had an argument with my dad about what time we are riding tommorrow. He said 9 and I said 10, wanting an extra hour in bed.....Looks like it's a win win situation :)

oh buggery poo bags with knobs on:( Time to get the headtorch out and wait in the dark for the yard lights to warm up - bah humbug

I won't get the extra hour as my poor pony in restricted turnout due to lami, she's only allowed out for 12 hrs at the mo, and needs in if frosty so I will actually have to get her in at 7am now instead of 8 till it gets light later again :(

If they just put them back 1/2 an hour it would all come right!!!

I always worry that they will be upset being put to bed at 5, but them they are let out the following day an hour earlier, so it all works out.

Just hate the rush to get things done that winter brings :(

Other than that , love dark nights in front of the fire, and the lack of allergies, still get hayfever but less so, so bring it on :)

i'm muddled, so at midnight do the clocks go back so it's 11 or do we wait till 1 then back the clocks back to 12.....?

'Officially' the change is at 2am; so 2am becomes 1am. Doesn't really make much difference though :) I've already changed my phone 'cos it's ancient and doesn't change itself!

Ahhh i see. thank you! i hate changing everything.... i always forget to change something then i have a mad panic as i think i'm late....

I tried to change the time in the car in the Spring by putting my arm through the steering wheel... whilst going round a corner  Won't be doing that again in a hurry :o
