Has anyone got a sand an Clopf fibre surface? If so how does it ride?

How much did it cost to put down? What type of sand did you use?

Any bad points? How do you maintain it?

Thanks

Somebody posted on here just the other day about having put Clopf down and how fantastic it was. I think the post title said something about Martin Collins so you might be able to find it via a search.

I have a sand and fibre mix. Its fantastic to ride on. Not too deep - it hardly froze during the cold spell. My arena is 25x45 and the surface alone was £9500. Which ever you go for make sure you get premixed - not sand and fibre separately.

a friend has it, just had it put down. it froze badly and she couldn't get on it for days, had to put rock salt on to thaw it a bit. i think it would be impossible on a windy site, but otherwise good... i've ridden on it at Matt Ryan's and it is very nice.

We have sand and Clopf. Brilliant surface, very little maintenance. Good to ride on. A pig to lay. Approx. £3000 for Clopf (I think) but I think we had a little too much, we were recommended to get 3.1T, doing it again, we would order less. Sorry, I'm a little vague with the figures. Froze solid over the bad weather for about two weeks but our school is in a shady area so doesn't get a lot of sun. Yes, we would use Clopf if we were to build again.

Just saw you post. Clopf Fibre is being added to the indoor arena I use on top of an existing sand surface. Dont know costs as its not my area it will be interesting to see how it progresses.
Editted to add I think they will probably harrow it in.
