has any1 purchased a saddle from america? im think about doing it cus they are so cheap with the exchange rate?? any ideas?

You'll have to pay a fortune in import duty if you get caught....and it's also a hell of a long way to send it back if it doesn't fit well

Just ask them to take the tags off and put on the declaration that it is a gift - I buy a lot of stuff from USA - its much much cheaper!!

As above - hwoever if you get caught the costs will be:
17.5% VAT
5% leathergoods Duty
£20 charge from post office / courier to collect payment from you.

Also they generally use an exchange rate that sucks

Try the EU for a cheaper alternative.

try tack-wholesale.com i have used them they are quick and usually its only the vat you pay if its for you and you arent buying to resell

I mostly use Ebay.de, but then again I speak German, so you could try it with a dictionary!!
