Can anyone find me a photo of Clover hill jumping? I can find one of him standing up. But need one of him jumping. Its for one of my degree assignments on producing the show jumper, and after having a clover hill mare I have a soft spot. Also he was one of the best showjumping IDH ever!!
 
Not sure if he did alot himself!
He is one of the best ID showjumping SIRES of all time more so

I know he never was on the circuit, but I have seen pictures of him jumping. Cant remember where though. I remember when I got my "clover" I researched her breeding and found jumping pics I'm sure.

Nevermind I'll just use the one of him stood up.
 
I don`t think he ever jumped himself, also he is not really an Irish Draught. He is a registered RID, but if you look at his breeding he is by Golden Breaker who is a TB out of an un-named mare by Tara (RID). He should really have been registered as a Sport Horse and not a RID.
 
Well he is RID so that will always stand to both him and his progeny however like most breeds you will find the addition of other blood has been introduced down the generations! CH is what most regard as a traditional ID, the type that currently are on the brink of extinction and that we are trying desperately to save

Clover Hill never jumped in competition.

Pretty much all the older RID stallions have TB blood in them somewhere. Sea Crest does, as does King of Diamonds, and of course Clover Hill was by a TB. I think Clover Hill is listed as both an ISH and a RID - but they were quite lax about "details" like that back in them olden times!
 
I KNOW!!! I said that, But there are pictures of him jumping!!! There are pictures of him out hunting as well somewhere!!!

Not to worry now, I've just used the one of him standing there.

Just realised I put IDH in my first thing, I meant ISH (Typo).

No need to shout people were only trying to help you!
 
He was never even broken in or ridden never mind on the circuit so i can pretty much guarantee you haven't seen pics of him jumping!
