Cluedo's Friend - any news yet?

Transporter is there now, and friend is still over an our away, so waiting for news to see if they will let them leave with the transporter..... GULP.
 
[****] has hit the fan and police on their way. One stallion loaded and they have barricaded the other into the stable and she is being threatened with violence now.
 
Oh no, have been watching your post and was keeping fingers crossed that she would get them without any hassle.

Hope the police sort it for her and she gets her horse's out quickly and safely.

Let's hope the police get there to do their breach of the peace thing and they get out - what the hell are their grounds for not letting her take them???
 
They say they won't let horses go until she settles their bill of over £1500 for two months!!!!

Am waiting for her to phone me back with update. Judging by the amount of emails and photos of others I have been sent who have been in the same boat at this place my friend got them out just in time.
 
I am pretty sure they can't keep the horses, they belong to the owner and as such she can take them whenever she wants, the money owed for livery would become a civil matter which I personally would fight!!!

With any luck the police will sort it out.
 
Good luck to your friend we I think are all sitting here with fingers and toes crossed that she get her stallions out of there tonight. Do let us all know PLEASE.

Oh thank goodness! Fantastic news! Please let us know when they are all settled in at their new place. Give your friend a big hug and she probably needs a stiff drink too!
 
Just got off the phone. Thank god she had the passports because without them the police wouldn't have let her take them.

They were particularly nasty and threatened violence, but police told them its a civil matter and they cannot stop an owner taking their property.

it's been a long day...... biggest thanks to Martlin and of course the transporter Chris who was incredible.
 
Martlin it came close! They tried to take one stallion off the lorry and chris and his girlfriend were not going to let that happen. His girlfriend managed to get the first stallion out before they realised what was happening.
 
This place needs reporting to the RSPCA, and are they BHS registered? Somehow people need to be warned not to send horses there. Thank goodness she's got her boys back. I do think it would be worth getting the RSPCA or ILPH to have a look at them now, and the evidence she's gathered.

She sent them there because they are well known and their website is good, and judging by the others who have contacted me since they all got sucked in as well.
