Is it just me or are some people who contemplate buying a horse completely clueless. We have had a coloured yearling for sale and at least two people have rung asking if he's been broken and can be ridding by children!!!

I really do wonder. I think that they just look at the price and don't consider the horse or what they want it for. We'd never sell it to people like this

I know exactly what you mean!

When I was rehoming some ponies I had rescued (yearlings) I had a filly and a colt.

Someone asked about having 2 of them so I replied - do you have seperate paddocks for them?

Their reply?

Why?

My reply:

They are male and female and the male hasnt been gelded.

Their reply...

Well arent they ok to have babies?

That was one of the more simple replies to respond to as some of the people really didnt have a clue...
