Just a baby mistake, too busy goggling at scary sheep and stumbled over his own git big feet!!! :(

LUCKILY!!!!! He was in his knee boots, which he never goes out without! I may get laughed at for having my horse in his 's+m thigh boots' but he is absolutely fine, we were just in walk and it was quite slow mo. Slight scuffs on the knee pads, but still usable and not a mark on my precious boy!

Really scary though, I jumped straight off but tbh I really don't think he noticed!! He is so laid back he is horizontal bless him!

So thank Westropp knee boots! I very much appreciated you today!

Ever since a lovely Arab at our yard fell on a stony path onto his knees and cut them to ribbons, we always wear knee boots out. It is something I really live in fear of!

Glad your boy is ok!

I use the jumpers horse line ones and won't go on the road without them! For two secs to put boots on it's simply not worth the mess they make if they trip or stumble

I agree, the same thing happened to me 4 weeks ago, made a real mess of her knees, I dont know what happened, it was all so quick but Im terrified now, my mind starts working overtime thinking theres something wrong with her, but it was just a very unlucky incident and she is only 6! I have learnt the hard way about knee boots...we all worry about brushing boots etc when the damage to knees can far outweigh brushing! I am gutted about the whole thing! so lucky you had the boots on.
