Can anyone recommend a decent Clydesdale breeder? Looking for a yearling colt - possibly a filly. I know there are a few breeders around but I would rather go off personal recommendations.
Many thanks

Google Matthew Gregory King. He always has a wide selection available.
Have you Contacted the Clydesdale Horse Society, they will be delighted to offer advice.
Also look at the Heavy Horse World magazine, they have breeders lists too.
Any of the UK Heavy Horse facebook pages will be a good place to get recommendations from too.

Visit a few studs to have a look at their stock and meet the stallions.

I am overseas now but used to live in Scotland. I would have thought Stirling/Perth area or Fife for good breeders. A farmer I knew rescued a super colt from the Knacker for a few hundred pounds turned into a really nice horse.
