Well after they very kindly rearranged my daughter's riding time ,we were able to go.
The riding section was good and she was in with a pony club group who all managed very well, not surprised with that at all. There were lots of skinnies and angled fences and it was great practise.

We had to take the horse back home then so only saw the start of the next group but it was a worry that some of the riders were saying they were not doing very well at intro/prenovice but were thinking of doing novice this year .I saw two fall off quite quickly and this was not a problem as everyone was there to learn but I hope they realise they will need to be able to do all this type of work very easily before they risk themselves at novice level.
In the afternoon it was theory and watching a video to spot problems. At least these riders could recognise problems and mistakes that others were making.I think it was a good roadshow and I hope everyone will be able to take things home to practice.
