Is anyone going out this Sunday? Its Eggpie Lane, Sevenoaks Lane.

Just wondering if it would be a good day for a gutsy and experienced 21 yr old to take out my hunter? I'm hoping for a small (ish) start with nothing too horrendous! My horse is a great follower, but not a thrusting leader, capable of jumping timber / hedges etc, but I don't want to over face him especially after the reduced workload of the past few weeks.

So, if you've been there before, or are going, please let me know!

Many thanks x

I am going and have been before, there are a few hedges nothing over 3'6 ish but you can get round them all and some timber. It can be a bit wet there, wealden clay, so expect fairly heavy going. Im sure an expereienced rider will be ok.

Thanks Pearlly! Sounds good to me - just have to work out how on earth to find it now! Keep an eye out for a pretty young girl (not me!) on a handsome yet lost looking bay (partying without his friends for once!). I'll be the one one foot, biting her nails and looking sick

Its easy to find eggpie lane on the right, although boxes park on the left and trailers in the car park, as a rough guide, parkin can be a bit tight depending on numbers

Ah thanks for that. I did a drive-by today (its only an hour away!) and found the lane easily although I turned down from the North. Couldn't work out where the actual meet was but found all sorts of buildings with the right name so will look out in the morning for horsey-type gathering and take my chances! Thanks, here's hoping for a great day, x
