We clipped my pony Harry just before Xmas, a nice hunter clip to stop his itchy scurfy coat causing him more discomfort and because his level of work warranted it. He lives out but in a nice sheltered field and rugged up well, I've never found him chilly.
However his coat is growing back and it is a horrid texture, almost short and wirey pube like (sorry, but that's how I can best describe it lol). It's not thick but a bit cat hairy.
Do you think it would be best to reclip now or just leave it to come through properly when the summer coat comes through. It really does feel horrid ????
