Coats/Jacket Recommendations

I know Madhector did a post similar to this a few months ago but i can not find it anywhere.
After saying on that how fantastic my Musto Snug Blouson was (tempting fate really) the zip has gone on it -have had it about 4yrs now!

Just wondering if people still think the newer ones are good?? I need something that is really waterproof (which mine was), cosy but not bulky, and prefarably a blouson style as i like riding in those as they don't get in the way of the saddle.

Any links to particular items would be great too thanks.

I picked up a lovely Joules jacket in a tackshop closing down sale and it is fantastic (far better than my Musto ever was IMO).

I have a Toggi Xtreme blouson which I love, warm, snug, waterproof but not bulky - got it about 3/4 years ago and it is still going strong!

ooo i shall look into it. I was searching for my current one on google- and a link came uo to a post on here saying how someones was not waterproof which is what made me wodner if the newer style is a different fabric. I could not find any joules ones on the website (although admittadly i looked quickly!) I shall look into the Toggi one.

love my Mountain Horse Grace. It's really warm & waterproof. However, after several years, the zip went on it...so I had a new one put in by the dry cleaners & now it's good as new again.

Anything by Mountain Horse is absolutely brilliant and well worth the money. All of my Mountain Horse jackets have lasted 6 years plus
