I do a bit of everything with my cob and i need a few more saddlecloths for comps. I have a few for everyday use but my white plain one is getting a bit grubby for comps and my dressage sq for my dressage saddle is my only one!
This is my mare , am sure most of you are sick of seeing her now!!) :P

Been having a prowl on eBay and came across this, i really like it - would it look okay for sj and xc? or would it look naff?!!

With regards to dressage does your cloth have to be light colour? i was thinking of a navy blue one? or a steel grey? - she wears her hunter style bridle with flash (she needs it) and her dressage saddle.

For showing its a brown hunter bridle and saddle with discreet brown numnah

And for sj and xc its normally whatever we can find!! will be doing a bit of local sj this winter - last time i went i wore a smart top and light jods but most where in jackets and shirts ?

What is your cobs attire for dressage, sj and xc?!

I think dressage has to be white cloth with no patterns!

I like the one you linked though, I think would look great on a piebald :)

Smart hunter wear all the time. Cobs are never going to be flashy warmblood divas and I always think it looks tacky when they're dressed up as on.

Mine always just had a smart flat noseband, no bling or fancy stuff and a good quality sheepskin pad cos he was a sensitive flower when it came to skin rubbing.

Yes i know what you mean about blinging them up! i quite like the saddlecloth though, i dont think its too out there for a cob! :) i think she would also suit a darker saddlecloth for dressage, but not sure on rules?

My friend has that exact saddle cloth for her piebald, and it looks lovely on. She wears it for dressage without a problem. I *think* as long as the motif isn't massive, you will be ok. I have a white square with my horses show name on, and Team Gb on the other side of it and that has been allowed too.

I have a white HKM saddlecloth for dressage and a plain numnah for showing. I will confess that I have an orange and also a bright blue Eurostar saddlecloth that I wear for everything else.
