Dom had his first win at aff Novice dressage today!

And got 68%

And won prize money (another first!

)

And came 2nd in his second test.

And loaded like an angel.

The only thing that could improve a fantastic day would be England winning the ashes!

Oh, wait a mo - that happened too!!

Oh, well done you. Cobs are fab, aren't they.

If you want a blank canvas to work with, a very handsome ID x cob, you are welcome to make mine a star too - oh dear, too far away. Never mind, he'll just have to stay my reliable happy hacker.

Thank you all for your kind words, I'm 'over the moon' as they might say in football.

Dom's just over 15hh and, as the pics show, is a real HW - short chunky legs and huge neck and shoulder. He's also a headshaker and had a difficult start in life so I'm doubly proud of his (and Mike who rides him) achievements!

Yayyyy, well done! He's goregous! Some people are quite snobby about cobs, espcecially when it comes to DR and it really annoys me as they're just as good as all the other breeds.

Will have to try and get G to go as nice as that for me in my tests and i'll be away

He too is a headshaker tho and it really affected us on the last test we did together.
