Does anyone know the differance?? I need a kent and masters cob saddle and looking at one on ebay described as a cob GX - are they the same? I cant find any info on the Kand M website

Bugrit! Millennium hand and shrimp.
I think they mean cob extra, at least I think that's what it's called. We have one-it's a lower profile than the regular k and m cob saddle so comes up a bit wider. I think they were made for bigger cobs but they've stopped making them now. otherwise it's just the same.

Just had a look at our saddle which is a dressage and is says 171/2 DX. So the GX is GP extra.

The cob GX as you call it was discontinued at least three years ago, so will probably be an older saddle, as I understand it, but please check.

My Kent and masters cob saddle has GX stamped on it, the saddler told me this means that it is the cob version.
