Cob mare urgently needs a home!

My friend has just text me to see if I know anybody or could take on a 14 year old bay mare which is being dealt by the RSPCA. Apparently if she doesn't find a home today she will be put to sleep :(.

I am in no position to take her on and my friend has no space at her yard for another. So just thought I'd see if anybody here could help out? I know it's not likely but I have to check.

I don't know the full details other than she is approximately 14 hands and she had a foal last year. She is in Swindon. I have suggested to my friend contacting other charities to see if they could take her so she may have some luck there.

Try Gloucester Horse Riders Facebook page? They cover lots of surrounding areas. I take it that it is not signed over to the RSPCA then because I thought their adoption process is pretty lengthy?

I assume not but I don't know the full details, I have just recieved a couple of texts from her and I am currently at work so can't call her. I am sneakily posting from my phone at the moment!!
 
Thanks everyone! The last I heard my friend was seeing if they could hang on to her for a few more days to give her a chance to find somewhere for her.

I have replied to your pm Christmassparkles. Your are very kind. I have passed on your number to my friend just in case she is still alive.

Thank goodness for that! Aw, I really hope ChristmasSparkles gets her. She sounds lovely, wish I could have helped!
