I have been looking at a cob for sale and wondered if anyone knows about the following: Trinas Cobs, Lindas Lovely Cobs, Sarah Bisby. They all seem to be linked but not sure who is who. Thanks.

I don't think Sarah Bisby is linked to the other two. She is based near Mexborough - Coloured Cobs.
I don't know the others but Sarah has good horses, is knowledgeable & very fair.
I would recommend her very highly.

Having searched all of the websites I decided to look on dragon driving where I found a horse that sounded just right the horse was being sold by Sarah Bisby unfortunately the horse was 200 miles away from me. I asked for more information and Sarah sent me video footage of the horse being ridden by adults and children with no problems. Sarah did inform me that she sells a lot of horses to the RDA(ridding for the disabled association) which she informed me that a representative for the RDA was coming on the Friday to look at this horse in particular, I informed Sarah that I could not visit the horse until the Saturday she informed me that if I placed a returnable deposit of £300 (10% of the full price) which I would get back if the horse failed the vet that she would keep the horse for me until the Saturday. I accepted this offer and Sarah sent me a confirmation email stating clearly that she would return my deposit with a successful vetting. When I went to look at the horse on the Saturday, the horse was actually very thin and quite lame. This led me to believe that the footage was taken many months before hand so was not a clear representation of the current horses condition. I pointed this out to Sarah and she responded that she would only return the deposit if it failed the vet, so I did arrange for vetting. The first practice I contacted refused to go out to Sarah's. I luckily managed to find another vet which was able to go out and see the horse and she failed it on the spot. Sarah refused to give my deposit back despite meeting her terms and I now have a county court judgement against her. She is also still trying to sell the horse as I asked a friend to enquire as a potential buyer and Sarah gave her the exact same chat about there being another visit from the RDA and could my she have a large deposit under the same terms as mine. Sarah Bisby is quite clearly not a honest and genuine dealer and would recommend staying well clear

What a horrible experience :( I was recommended Sarah when I was horse hunting, the two horses I viewed were very different from their advert and one was lame. I was pushed for a deposit and told there were others viewing straight after me, I refused to put down a deposit and told her I wasn't too interested at the moment; got a frosty response and told I was a timewaster :(

Trinas cobs arent all their reputation would lead you to believe either!

They have a good reputation locally and when they have had a horse to sell that they found during their assessments to be les than straightforward they have put up honest warts and all adverts for these horses,
