Perhaps a little off subject ..... does anyone out there know if there is any law stopping someone in a residential area from keeping a cockrell?
Flippin neighbour has decided it is a good idea to keep one and it has started crowing at 4am! Not too much of a problem at the moment as most of our windows are firmly shut but when the summer comes this is going to cause a major issue!
I have read that if they are kept indoors with no windows it should slow the crowing down but I have just walked over there (2 doors down and across the road) and he has it in a small mess-sided coop and there is another cockrell further down the road that is crowing in competition!
Thanks for any help.
