Cocksfoot Grass as hay/haylage - advice please?

Does anyone have any experience of making hay or haylage from cocksfoot grass?

The usual would be ryegrass or timothy, but is there any reason you couldn't use cocksfoot? Is it still as palatible to the horses?

We have a very varied sward with fescues, timothy, cocksfoot, ryegrass, bents and broomes!

I have not noticed the horses leaving the cocksfoot - so I think they find it palatable.

But has anyone fed enitrely Cocksfoot, or at least the majority?
