coffin join dej and pedal disorder

Please do the reading recommended and don't be blinkered by what the vets and farriers are offering. There are other ways to do what Rockley Farm does, you just need to do a LOT of reading about barefoot rehab, DDFT etc and be prepared to go against the establishment. Even if you have to retire him, why not try to make him as comfortable as possible? Bute is one way but improving hoof health has to be a better way...?

that's sort of how I came to it really, conventional treatment hadn't/wasn't working with limited alternative conventional options. If horse not sound horse would be retired and if retiring then shoes were coming off anyway, so figured with a go trying to keep him work without them anyway. It's taking lots of patience though because I am determined not to do too much until his foot has grown down.. I just tell myself he has given me a fab 7 years so I owe him the chance and what's a few months between friends. If it doesn't work he will retire but we'll see.

awww yeah give him a chance
i am considering just retiring rolo and letting him be happy be a horse!
but im worried about his bowel - as he developed this in a field before - its a hard one!!
