Is there anything on the market to keep your ears warm when riding?

I went out in the wind and cold on Friday and ended up with ear ache!!

Go to a ski shop (or somewhere that sells ski stuff) and you can buy a thin fleece headband that goes over your ears - fits under your hat too and does help a bit.

You can get sheepskin ear muffs that clip onto your skull cap. I have some and they are great, really warm. I think they are made by Griffin

Ive had them years but any saddler that stocks Griffin Nuumed products(numnahs etc) should be able to order some for you. I think they are about £15. Well worth it in my opinion.

I wear a silk scarf - a la Princess Anne - under my hat on cold days, you can still hear the traffic but not always the chat from hacking companions! Your mum probably has one in a drawer somewhere....
