I have tried all different tights and socks combo's and my feet can't stay warm!
I wear the woof fleece lined boots for yard work and have also tried my dublin river boots and neither of these help.
It gets to the point that my toes are hurting and it ruins time at the yard. Sounds ridiculous I know!
Anyone got any tips to keep toes toastie, hate, hate, hate having cold toes!

layers. Are your boots big enough, I find having slightly too big boots better.
Thin socks, then a thick wool pair.

And plastic carrier bags help suprisingly

I have the same problem, even in the house. People will literally flinch if they touch my feet and hands because they are always ice cold!

Try putting a thin plastic bag on your barefoot, then a "normal" sock, another bag then a thick sock. I've found that the really soft fluffy socks don't actually keep my feet warm, so I'm usually found wearing my boyfriends "builder" socks lol.

I've also found it helps to run for a few minutes every so often to keep my feet warm (although you may get a few disconcerting looks :p)

Boots need to be slightly loose to allow air to circulate around the socks, else the cold conducts right through. Then you need warmer legs to ensure toasty feet. I'd wear ski trousers with thermal leggings underneath them and a simple pair of thick socks.

After many years of suffering I think I've cracked it - I wear pop socks (I think the young people call them trousers socks, essentially knee socks made of tights material), Primark thermal, fleece lined leggings, Puffa riding socks, joggers or breeches (depending on what I'm doing) and neoprene lined boots - toasty :D

I feel your pain literally, I have raynauds so if I get cold the blood stops going to toes and fingers, which leads to numb and colourless fingers and toes, nice!
I wear heat holders tights then breeches or jogging bottoms, then heat holder socks then fleece lined snow boots in winter plus lots of tips the best down filled toggi coat (about ten years old now) hats and two pairs of gloves, working so far this winter. Only bad point I look like michelin man!!

I haven't read all the replies, so sorry if i am repeating someone else:

My farrier gave me a great tip the other week- if you have room in your boots for a thin pair of insoles, then wrap the insoles in tin foil, and place in your boots. it reflects the heat from your foot, back to your foot, and reflects the cold back down to the ground. simple science really! :D
