Cold Packs

Where can I get a cold pack from? I know my local tack shop sell them but they are the use once and throw away type and are about £3 each.

I need one asap to apply to my horses splint tonight. Do you think the chemist would sell them?

I dont have a hosepipe at the yard so a cold pack will be the only way to apply constant cold therapy for any amount of time. My wet towel was really not working last night

yes, a wine cooler, or perhaps a deep bucket of water (if your horse will tolerate it? )

Oh yes maybe I could stand him in a bucket of water. He should tolerate it, hes quite good with most things.

you can buy plastic things that you fill with water and put in the freezer to make ice cubes try one of them but don't let it actually turn to ice.
