Hello everyone!
I’ve a 22-year-old gelding who is outdoor 24/7 with a run-in shelter, unlimited hay and he also gets some grain for senior horses. I live in Hungary and it’s been cold (under 0 celsius) for some weeks and I noticed that not most of the time, but very often his ears are backwards since the temperature has dropped. Should I be worried that he is in pain or it can simply be because of the cold and the wind?
Thank you in advance!

If he is holding his weight well and seems to be drinking and eating normally and not lame I wouldn't worry too much, sometimes mine look fed up out in the field in winter, luckily it will soon be spring!
