Hello, some of you may remember around a month ago I posted (in a devastated manner) about Rupert being rushed into colic surgery-having never had colic in his life...
Anyway, I'm pleased to tell those who send their best wishes and stories that Roo has passed the first month post surgery. He is now walking out in hand twice a day for 15 mins. I cannot believe how well he has taken everything, he is so calm and sweet as ever considering he HATES being in his stable. He's a pleasure to handle and I'm so proud of him and eternally grateful to his loaners without whom he may not even be here. I know he has got a long way to go still but I thought I'd give you an update.
Here he is on Monday, barefoot (and feeling every pebble) with a very long mane and tail.
