colic yesterday still not really pood should i be worried?

as my post yesterday - i was up all night waiting for ginger to poo, had about 4 this morning so i put him out brought in at 2.30 and has only.pood once and that was after i walked him!! vets not that worried but i am, he seems really bright, eating and drinking but why has he not pood? vet says just to keep an eye on him - maybe im being dramatic?

Are you saying that between yesterday and today he has only pooed once in total? If so, yes that would worry me.

Mare is out all night, then in during day. When I get there at tea time to put her out she has only usually done two poos in those 8/9 hours but only has a flap of hay spread throughout the day. She does most of her pooping in the field.

Colicky tummy and only one poo in 24 hours would be worrying me enough to keep a close eye at least!

How much has he eaten though? Nothing much in can lead to limited output. Also others may know from experience but I wonder if the gut takes time to recover from this sort of instance so any gut transit is a positive. Hope all is well sending positive vibes.
