well as usual if one of.mine needs the vet theres a high chance the other will come.out in sympathy and yep its happened again :-(
poor mare had v mild colic on monday vet came out, couple of poops overnight and was allowed out yesterday. brought in last night and colicked again! vet out at 930pm and told to keep her in. since last night she has only done 2 poos, about to phone the vet and see where we go from here, yo also went away and bought a bag of bran as im atuck in work :-(
young one - not to be outdone brought in last night with a hugely swollen sheath! can still pee and poo and eating so went back out last night after some danilon. brought in this morning and still big so out comes the vet who says its an insect bite (in october?!!) i dont agree but wjat do i know..i think its a kick:-(
anything else i can do for my poor big mare? :-(
