Ive seen alot of good reviews of coligone on here and im thinking it might be useful to have in the cupboard.
But im a bit confused as to when you use itand how. Surely if your horse has mild colic feefeeding it isnt advisable?
If anyone can advise that would be great :) xx

The liquid is good for stressy horses when travelling or when competing to help stop the acid attacking the stomach lining.
I use on our ex racer with ulcers everyday tho, it helps reduce her wind sucking and keep her more comfortable in general.

Coligone is exactly the same as Gaviscon so think the same uses too. The aniseed liquid is great for immediate post colic or for when a known stress head might be facing something worrying eg travelling, a show, changing fields etc etc etc. The minty powder is ideal as a background maintenance/preventative and is good for TBs, horses stabled a lot, horses prone to ulcers etc.
