I recieved my order of coligone powder and liquid today cant wait to put my horse on it, i have heard how amazing the stuff is my horse has had upto grade 4 stomach ulcers which are now gone so tomorrow is his last day on the gastro and then im starting the coligone for his supplement. Has any one had real success from this stuff all i have read is good reports of it and how amazing the stuff is :D

I use the powder. It's really good. At least, I'm sure it must be, as the times my horse has had gassy colic and been tucked up are the times she hasn't been on it. I've yet to have a problem when she has been on it. It's also a good calmer, and ideal for unsettling situations.

I haven't used the liquid, that's aniseed flavour, and I believe best for use when there's a problem, whereas the powder (mint) is more of a maintenance product.

I can warn you your horse might object if you put the full dose in its feed straight away! It's a strong flavour and takes some getting used to, so I would just put a teaspoon in the first feed and work up to the full dose over a few weeks.
