One of mine is on oral AB due to mudfever havng struck despite our efforts to stop it. Vet has seen her and gave me the AB course and we are doing the scab removal etc.

Question is though that she will most likely get an upset tummy on AB so I wondered, since I have Coligone here already, if that would be a good thing or would Pink Powder be better as a short course?

She doesn't have the Coligone normally, that is for another one.

Sorry can't help with the Colligone versus Pink Powder as have only used Pink Powder (which is great). Just thought it might be worth mentioning that it might be worth feeding an Echinacea supplement too, it helps boost the immune system. I have given it to my mare for the last two winters and touch wood she hasn't had any mudfever since (despite having knee deep mud in the fields). She used to get it every year (despite careful management).

Cant comment on Coligone as Ive never used it, but have been using PinkPowder and will continue to do so, I think its great and has helped keep my boy calm during his move and his coat condition is gorgeous. Hope this helps x

My boy has had loose droppings for almost a year, had to restict his grazing as he digestive system just couldnt cope. Put him on pink powder a few weeks ago and hes back out in the field with all his friends, cant reccomend it enough, fantastic stuff.

Also he gets quite nervous at times but took him sj yesterday and he didnt bat an eyelid and remained calm all day.

I don't actually know what is in Coligone (I know the liquid and powder are different) Pink Powder works for me, mine are all on it all the year round and interestingly it does have magnesium in it which may contribute to destressing those horses that may be deficient.

Had mine on a course of a/b's and bute for a week so he could be chemically wormed which he is allergic to. Used Coligone prior to, during and after and had absolutely NO problems at all.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Plus he loves the taste.

Asti had a bit of a do with an upset tummy a couple of weeks ago - I think a combination of new grass coming through and being very wet, and she was getting very loose and looking a bit like she'd start being colicky - gave her some coligone and it put her right within 24 hours.

It seems to work wonders with her!
