My lad finds the minty taste of coligone not too his liking, so was thinking of changing him over to u-guard. As far as I can see from the equine America website they are similiar products. Any advice please....

A lady at my yard has U-gard for her horse for stomach ulcers, it was recommended by the vet so I imagine it must work and the horse seems very healthy now. Sorry not really much info but hope that helps!
 
U-Gard isn't mint flavoured, if anythng it smells almost sherbety (haven't tried tasting it). Jim will eat it & hewouldn't touch the Coligone powder no matter how I tried to hide it. Alternatively try Coligone liquid, although it's a strong aniseed smell & flavour Jim likes it.
