pm H's Mum. she came up with the stuff. i have nothing but praise for the stuff. she sent me some to use on a very very sick foal we had who wouldn't stop scouring. not only did it help foal i gave remainder of the supply we had to a 5yr old we had that wind sucked alot. he stopped the wind sucking and his temperment seemed to improve too. he's since been sold but if we had another that windsucked i would definitely look to get some!!

Seems cruel to collar a horse as you are just stopping the vice not curing the problem.
I use Coligone to great success and I'm sure it will help you horse. For £9 a bottle surely it's worth a try. You'd know if it was working after one bottle.

I have been feeding coligone powder to my horse for about 3 months and it has'nt stopped him windsucking. I thought it might stop him from getting colic but he has had two small attacks lately. He had a twisted gut last year and had 10 feet taken out of his small intestine. He use to wear a collar every night in the stable but I have stopped putting it on as quite frankly it wont stop them colicing. Just try to ignore the windsucking and have a happy horse, I use to call our collar his chocker because thats what it does if they have their head up.
