I'm so sorry, I now there has been so many posts about this.

There is a horse up my yard who has colicked 3 times in 6 months. First 2 times seriouly, nearly on the point of going to hospital, and the 3rd was caught very early yesterday morning so didn't really develop, but he hasn't looked happy ever since.

He is an INCREDIBLY laid back, lovely horse, although obviously has a very sensitive stomach. The first 2 colics they though were down to grass, but the third couldn't be so we're now at a loss to know what caused it.

I suggested coligone to his owner because I had heard such good things about it on here. So basically my question is do you think it could help? I looked on the website and it talked about helping stressy horses in different scenarios and one thing this horses isn't is outwardly stressy.

Would be really interested to hear your opinions as I really feel if his owner doesn't do something she is going to loose this lovely horse. Thanks.

It will DEFFO help give the owner peace of mind if nothing else. Sounds like this horse is the same as H - H's Mum's mare who she designed the product for. She colicked on grass, off grass, very frustrating and not because of stress alone. If I were you I would send H's Mum a PM and explain your case, she will help you as much as you need

No, seriously nothing at all has changed!! It's a total mystery!

After his last bout they rang all the feed company's and reassessed his entire feeding regime and now his owner meticulously weighs out his feed morning and night.

I have to say that she did not used to feed him very well at all, and last summer he looked awful. I'm really worried that he has actually damaged his gut and there's not much that we can do to help, but that's just me speculating.
