Hi, I need a new bridle for my boy, i want something quite smart and with good quality English leather. Has anyone got a collegiate one? If so what do you think?
Thanks

I have one - it's the padded crank flash. Unfortunately it stretched badly within a few weeks of having it and using it. I contacted the people who I bought it from and they weren't helpful either and said it's meant to stretch............I do still use it as the leather is lovely and supple, but I keep it for best and use a cheapy Gallop one for everyday.

I have one and I had to return the first one as the noseband ripped, they did replace it but only after a serious whinge (I'd only had it about 3 weeks).
The replacement has now started to tear on the inside of the noseband (it is about 2 years old now). It is oiled regularly and cleaned weekly.
The rest of it is ok but would not say it was top class English Leather.

I have one- I had it about 18 months now and i really like it.
The noseband is badly scuffed but thats only because my horse rubs it badly and the throatlash is very chewed! but its still great and i would buy another- just not for this ungrateful beast!

I bought one and the rein broke the first time we used it. Someone was hacking my newly broken pony on the open forest at the time. Luckily she is incredibly quiet!
