*Collie found wandering - Belfast
Big shout out to anyone in the Saintfield Road area of Belfast, Northern Ireland:
Two kids have found a lovely border collie running loose today - no collar or tags - near a busy road.
They brought it to the Burn Equestrian Centre at Knockbracken Healthcare Park and will be asking their parents to let them keep it...so it has been found by animal lovers anyway.
I have advised them to have a vet check it for a microchip, and will be checking up to see what happens regarding it.
It's a lovely dog - I didn't check today but am told it's a girl. Black and white, one blue eye, and very distinctive markings. Coat is medium length, a bit scruffy but good condition and perfect teeth. Very affectionate and does a perfect sit with it's head up in your lap, etc.
If they don't find an owner, and can't keep it, chances are we will take it ourselves. Rather gorgeous dog though, so suspect that someone is looking for it! Please spread the word however you can!
